The Art of saying No

A time management expert once said to me people aren’t too busy to do what they should be doing its all the things they shouldn’t be doing that eats the time.

Let me explain, in ministry and life in general you have your work to do and then people keep asking you to help with other things, or could you just do this for us.

Or could you come and speak at this on Wednesday.

The majority of us don’t like to say NO so we say Yes despite the fact that we know it will put stress on everything else we have to get done.

Learning to say NO is the biggest help but then explain why.

It doesn’t mean you can never do anything else, it just means you do those things you consider important.

It’s important to remember that a speaking engagement has preparation involved so it is more than just say an hour.

Go on have a pratice: NO NO NO. Easy.
