Let them Know.
One of the most common complaints I hear from Youth Pastors is that the church isn’t interested in what they are doing. Often when talked through it highlights the fact that you are not letting them know what is happening etc.
One simple way to over come this is to produce a news letter that everyone gets sharing news of what has been going on, staffing needs, prayer pointers and thoughts for inspiration. I started this after many years of feeling no one was really interested to discover that people just needed informing. My last was called Pulsate (join the beat).
I know it is something else to add to everything that needs doing but it is worth every second. I produced a magazine every three months and would do it from day one if working for a church.
The other thing it is great to look back on to see what God has been doing in the work you are a part of.
You can never over communicate.
