Scenario 3: The accident.
These scenarios have been tried and tested with young people at Prospex, and have been written by myself and Maxine. They are best used by givig a group the scenario and some time to put their role play together and then present. We have found that leaving them to it without direction from yourselves gives a truer insight to how they see thingsÂ
The Scenario:Â
You have bunked off school with some mates, one of your friends has an accident and is knocked uncnscious. You panic and run off and leaving them on their own. They wake up in hospital and no one knows who they are and they ar scared to say because of bunking off school. Their parent/s /care giver phone you worried late at night asking if you have seen them. What do you say, how do you feel?
There are so may issues that you ca draw out of this senario, from friendship, trust, honesty, doing the right thing to mention a few.
