Martin Luther King Jr

If a man is called to be a streetsweeper, he should sweep streets even as Michelangelo painted, or Beethoven composed music, or Shakespeare wrote poetry. He should sweep streets so well that all the host of heaven and earth will pause to say, here lived a great streetsweeper who did his job well.

I submit to you that if a man hasn’t discovered something he will die for, he isn’t fit to live.

Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere.

Our lives begin to end the day we become silent about things that matter.

We have flown the air like birds and swum the sea like fishes, but have yet to learn the simple act of walking the earth like brothers.
