This works best as part of a meal or other event. <P>
Each person brings a wrapped gift this can be something of value or just funny, large or small, old or new but must be wrapped. <P>
It can be disguised in look or weight. In one box add a cash prize say a 20 pound note or 50 depending how large the event is, this helps the bidding as no-one knows which box this is in. <P>
Display the boxes on a table and number each and give people plenty of time to view and decided which ones they may want to bid for. <P>
Run the auction and encourage bidders to be generous. Once the auction is over people are free to swop five items should they want to. This normally leads to loads of fun and some more cash in your fund pot.
