Band Night
The key to this is to persuade the band to give their gig for free and then put on an evening of music, dancing, food and a few prize competitions. <P>
You can produce tickets and sell at an reasonable rate and get different people to cook food for a buffet. <P>
It is essential to get as much as possible for free and sell as many tickets as possible. <P>
We have done a few of these now and all have taken nearly a thousand pounds and they have been great evenings. The last one various young people sang songs with the bands as it was a youth project and this really made the evening. <P>
It is worth decorating the place out which can be done relatively cheaply and makes all the difference.
