Bag Packing
Get permission from one of your local super markets to help pack peoples shopping for a donation.  It can be quite lucrative over a day. <P>
The key is to advertise what you are raising money for, to be polite and friendly. <P>
It raises the profile of the project in the community as well as money. <P>
This can also be used as a mission project without a charge just as an act of kindness and a chance to say we are from the local church etc. <P>
If you can get t-shirts free it can look very professional too. <P>
Some supermarkets will want to give your volunteers some bag packing training first, which all helps.
