What’s good about Good Friday?

Oxymorons are two words we use together that when you think about them contradict each other or mean the complete opposite. <P>

 

It works well to print the words up large to give a visual and see if they can guess the answers, my favourites are below: <P>

 

Silent Scream <P>

 

Plastic glasses <P>

 

Same difference <P>

 

Jumbo Shrimp <P>

 

Good Grief <P>

 

Working Holiday <P>

 

Peace Force <P>

 

Alone together <P>

 

The o­nly choice <P>

 

Once you have prevented these and pointed out that really they do not make much sense add Good Friday then talk about how Jesus dying does not seem that good unless you know about Sunday and the resurrection. <P>
