Sticky Tricky Sin.

Props: A Chair

Actor enters.

Actor: WOW! Look it sin!!! I’ve heard about sin. Look at it. Isn’t it lovely! IT looks so good. So comfortable. I bet it feels real good. (approaches chair slowly and cautiously).

My parents always told me to stay away from sin. But, this is really tempting. I mean what harm could it do? (actor sneaks up on chair and touches it quickly) WOW!! AWESOME!! Did you see that! It felt so good. I mean I just went and touched sin just like that and!!!! It is, its unexplainable. The feeling the rush. The power!! (actor reaches out again, this time not quite as cautious, and touches another part this time holding on a little while longer).

Wow, that was great. My parents are stupid. And what was my Youth Pastor thinking? Sin isn’t that bad. And it feels so good. I mean, I always heard, but now I know. I can finally relate to all my friends.

(Actor reaches aout again grabs chair and is immidiatley stuck, just hold the chair in your had as if you are stuck to it!)

Oh NO!! I’m stuck. I can’t get loose. (franticaly shake and run from side to side, slinging chair here and there but with no sucess.)

I can’t get it off. I can’t get me off. (Improv as much as possible. The more you try to get off, the more you get stuck, your other had, foot, face etc. Finally, somehow, end up sitting down in the chair, totally stuck).

(Then several people walk by and try to get you go to here and there. But you just cover up that your stuck. Finally you can’t take it any more. One individual comes by, late for church. You beg his help. He offers you salvation and you accept it very cautiously, it immidiately unsticks you from the chair as soon as you slowly let go).

The end.
