Stop and Search!
I draw to to help me process things I am thinking about. Part of my work is detached and stop and search is a big issue.
This week one young person got stopped and searched and showed us the report, as he walked away from us a police mini bus screached up next to him and four police jumped out and seached him again. This happen two more times on the way home.
Here are some some questions?
Does stop and search reduce crime or just create bad feeling between young people and the police?
Does it really take four police officers to stop one young person?
Are the police predujiced on who they stop?
Are there better ways of dealing with problems?
I do not have the answers but I believe it is an issue that needs thinking about? What are your views?
