I meant to add this before Christmas but will add it now for future use. This is one of those films that you will either love or hate.
Based on the childrens book this film wth Jim Carey in th staring role really tackels what Christmas is about it is particularly good for lookig and challenging the commersial side of Christmas.
Coach Carter if one of those films bursting with potential clips I give you two here..
The film is based on the true story of controversial basket ball coach Ken Carter, who recieved both high praise and staunch criticism when he made national news for a gymnasium lockout of his undefeated team due to their poor academic performance.
 Carter is played by Samuel L Jackson who potrays the role superbly.
I love this track but this will work well with other music if the track that goes with it is not your cup of tea. The track is called ‘We accept’ and is 3 minutes 53 seconds long. The film is credit cards, visa, american express, pay pal etc changing with the beat, there is a scary amount of them and it shows what a consumer based society we live in. <P>

The DVD is an extremely well produced product with so many tunes and videos that can be used to great effect. <P>
This clip can be found at the beginning of chapter 4 and lasts just over three minutes. <P>
The clip shows them arrive at Far Far Away which has all the trappings of Hollywood and arriving at Princess Fionas’ parents palace to meet them. Everyone is expecting a beautiful Princess and Prince Charming but instead they get two ogres and the reaction from the crowd and the king and queen is great. <P>
Kevin Spacey plays a 7th grade school teacher that sets a challenge at the beginning of the year to ‘make the world a better place’. <P>
One lad Trevor puts it into action by taking a homeless person home but insisting that they don’t repay him they repay three other people which he calls paying it forward. <P>
The clip is found at chapter 13 and is entitled You ate the Princess. Princess Fiona has turned into an ogre and donkey discovers her and at first doesn’t realise who she is.
She hates herself because she doesn’t look like a Princess, Donkey gives some wise words of wisdom! It is a very funny clip and humour is a great way to connect.
