Round the Clock.

Each player has three darts and has to hit each number in turn around the board starting at 1 and ending at 20.

If a player hits 3 numbers in a row they stay on and throw three more.

Before the game starts decide how to end, the traditional way is with a double top (20) but for the beginner this could take for ever.

Killer.

This is best played with a minimum of four players and a maximum of eight.

First each player takes one dart and throws it with the opposite hand that they write with, so a right handed person uses his left and visa-versa.

The number they hit is the number they are throughout the game, no one can have the same number if this happens they must throw again.

Frisball

At each goal set up a table up ended which becomes the goal.

Split the group into two equal teams each team selects a goaly.

Toss a coin to see who will start and the winning teams goaly starts.

The aim is for each team to score goals when a person has the frisby they cannot run and a frisby cannot be snatched from a hand only when in flight.

When a goal is scored the goaly that let it in gets the frisby to restart the game.

If a group are used to playing a ten second hold rule can make it a more interesting game.

Scalped

Give everyone a paper bag that is big enough to put on their head hat style.

On the whistle everyone has to run around trying to scalp other people by stealing the bag off their head whilst keeping their own in tact.

If a person loses their bag the are out of the game.

Crows and Cranes.

Place a line down the centre of the room and divide the group into two teams and line them up on either side of the line so they are facing each other.

One team are the crows the other are the cranes.

To play you call out either crows or cranes, the team who is called try to chase and tag the members of the other team before they can reach and touch the wall behind.

Snake Bite

Get ten - twelve people to stand in a line and to hold the persons in front of them waist, the front person holds a piece of foam insulation or a foam swimming woggle.
The aim of the game is for the front person to whack the person at the back with the tube. When they suceed the front person goes to the back and the game starts again.

UV Ball.

Set up volleyball net in your hall and fit one or two UV (blacklight) light bulbs up, you can get these from electrical shops.

Get a large beach ball (white is good) or cover in ultra violet ink.

Switch off the lights and play a five-touch rule each side as it makes a better game.

It’s great if they shout out the number of touches as they go.

This works better in the winter as it saves blacking out any windows.
