Balloon Shaving

This is an old favourite that works as a fantastic stage game.

Get 3 or 4 couples and sit the lads on a chair with a balloon in their mouths.

Squirt over the balloons shaving foam.

Then give all the girls a disposable razor and on the word they have to shave their partners balloon.
The winner is either the best shaved balloon or fastest time.

This normally results in one or more balloons bursting resulting in both people getting splatted with shaving foam.

Jelly Head!

This works well on a camp or retreat.
Get all the young people to bring a pack of jelly but do not tell them why. When you arrive get them to hand them in.

Inflate the paddling pool and make up the jelly and pour it into the pool. Once it is cool enough add the fun sized chocolate bars making sure they are spaced out. Now leave it over night so that it starts to set. If it does not fully set it does not matter.

Now place the pool in the centre of a playng field and split the group into 2 - 4 teams standing in lines around the pool.

On the whistle they run up remove a bar of chocolate from the jelly eat it and run back and sit down.

The first team to all eat a bar and sit wins.

This is great for photos and was loved by all.
Be prepared for some jelly madness after it is over.

Lime is my personal favourite!

Tomato sauce Roulette

I owe this one to John Merriman who introduced me to this a long time ago and succeeded in covering me in sauce, and I wasn’t playing the game.

Sit 4 or 5 people around a small table and place a sachet of sauce upside down in the middle of the table (the square plastic type you get in places like MacDonalds with the foil / film lids).

In turn each person clenches their fist and smacks it down on the sauce, you keep going round until the inevitable happens and the sauce splats out.

It is a great one for nerve, some will really whack it whilst others will be more careful.

Warning it does make a mess, salad cream doesn’t stain so much but is less dramatic.

Flour Ball

This game comes from the Rock Solid manual but is so good and popular I just have to include it.
You will need:

Two foam footballs, a bag of flour and a large container big enough for the two balls to sit in.

Rice Pudding Feet

This revolting messy game works particularly well on a weekend away but can be used any-where.

You will need:

Egg Catch

You will need enough eggs for one per two people.

Pair everyone off and have them stand in a long line with each pair facing each other with an arms gap between each group.

Get each person to take two paces away from each other then throw the egg to their partner who hopefully catches it.

Then everyone together takes two more steps and throws the egg to their partner. Keep doing this until only one pair is left, they win a prize but make them keep going till it drops.

It is great fun to do and good to watch. We played it in a local park and passers by joined in. It is quite amazing how far some people can throw and catch them.

Be prepared to get splatted, I did.
