Pancakes

Ingredients: <P>

125g/4oz (1cup) flour. <P>

1 egg. <P>

 350ml/12fl oz (1.5 cups) milk. <P>

½ teaspoon salt optional. <P>

1 tablespoon melted butter. <P>

Oil for frying. <P>

This will make about 10-12 18cm pancakes.

How too: <P>

Sift flour and salt into a bowl, make a well in the middle and add the egg, butter and milk. Using a spoon draw in the flour then beat well with a whisk, cover and leave to stand for 1 hour. <P>

Island Quencher

 

To make o­ne serving you will need: <P>
10 cracked ice cubes. <P>
2 measures of orange juice. <P>
1 measure lemon juice. <P>
1 measure pineapple juice1 measure papaya juice. <P>
½ teaspoon grenadine. <P>
Sparkling mineral water to top of glass. <P>
For this put all the ingredients into a cocktail shaker and shake vigorously. <P>
Half fill a tall glass with this and the ice and top up with mineral water. <P>
Decorate the glass with a cherry and pineapple wedge o­n a cocktail stick. <P>

Smores!

 

Smores are called smores because you keep coming back for more. <P>
For them you simply need any chocolate coated biscuit of your choice and marsh mallows. <P>
Take 1 marsh mallow and toast to perfection then two biscuits and with the chocolate facing inwards make a sandwich using the hot marshmallow as the filling. <P>
The result is divine and I can assure you, you will come back for another. <P>
It has the advantage of not burning your mouth o­n a stick that has been in the fire. <P>
A definite winner for all you chocolate lovers.
