R.I.P. Ben.

Last night I had the pleasure of accepting an award from the Centre of Social Justice for Prospex where I am the manager of Youth services. It was a great honour and an inspirational night seeing the stories of other winners. More soon.

I went to watch my girls sing with Merton Music Foundation in St Pauls Church in Covent Garden London which is also kown as “The Actors Church” during the interval I came across this plaque and loved it, what a great thing to be remembered for.
It is a great visual for a discussion starter and would work well along with How do you want to be remembered.
From Monday I take up the leadership of Prospex the youth work charity I have been working with for some time now.
It is a exciting time and a strange time as Matt Calvert the founder is both a close friend and an inspirational leader. Matt is moving on to forge new initiatives so watch this space and I wish him the very best.

My first abstract.
Some great pics of Cameron’s visit to Prospex yesterday from the centre of social justice, see them here.
Yesterday David Cameron came to Prospex pre - his poverty speech later in the day. He sat and talked about what we do and how and engaged with a couple of young people Prospex has helped and then went on a tour of the Bemerton estate.
Matt had started the day at Pimlico Plumbers with Boris with two young people for a days experience and one of our young people was on the news last night.
